Senior Designer
In my wide-ranging role at Strange Animals I have art directed projects, designed brand identities and guidelines, websites, print documents, signage, digital advertising, motion graphics, and really most things in-between! The portfolio of clients I’ve worked on for Strange Animals is eclectic, from notable Perth arts organisations (including Black Swan State Theatre Company and Artrage) to small businesses and startups, to charities and non-profits, to large-scale concerns such as national homebuilders. In 2023 we won both the Design Non-Profit Awards at the Australian Web Awards for our work on the website for local Perth institution Rooftop Movies.

As a freelancer I worked with city councils like those for Fremantle, Perth, Vincent and Coogee on event artwork (including 10 Nights in Port Fremantle Festival alongside designer Isabel Kruger). For a number of years I fully supported West Australian Music in their flagship annual events WAMFest festival, WAMCon conference and WAMAwards night, producing everything from key artwork and branding to the considerable collateral they required. Among a variety of projects, I’ve designed wine labels for Vanguardist Wines, play and comedy show posters, and a small dab of editorial illustrations for publications such as Quanta Magzine.

Junior to Mid-weight Designer
The award-winning Red Tiki team recognised the unique flavour I provide to design through my illustrative work and hired me as a graphic designer. In the digital agency I employed my training in branding, and learned on the job in terms of web and digital design.
